Description:
Awarded to learners who complete SRP2025, including lectures, Q&A/discussions, and mini tests.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Research Literacy — Summarize and explain current research topics
2. Research Ethics — Recognize and apply principles of academic integrity
3. Scientific Communication — Engage in discussions and present findings

Level:
Graduate-preparatory (non-credit); Intended participants: senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career researchers

Program Scale:
- PI count: 13
- Time per PI lecture: 75 minutes (1.25 hours)
- Estimated total learning time: 16.25 hours (1.25 × 13) + additional live events

Recognition:
Certificate of Completion (issued after review); Open Badge as digital credential

Selection / Eligibility:
Applicants must pass screening by the SRP organizer at the University of Tsukuba.

Criteria for Completion:
- Participation in each PI’s on-demand or live session (confirmed via LMS log/attendance)
- Achieve full marks on at least four mini tests
- Agreement to participation rules and academic integrity policy

Assessment:
- Mini tests (full-score requirement)
- Participation in Q&A/discussions
- Additional assignments if necessary

Mini-Test Policy:
- One mini test per PI
- Unlimited retakes allowed
- Passcode (announced in the video or live session) required
- Full score = Pass; at least four full scores required

Audit Trail:
Exported records of test IDs, attempt dates, and scores for each PI will be maintained

Identity Verification:
- Participation requires a JV-Campus account with the learner’s own name and email
- Badge name is based on LMS registration (Romanized name upon request)
- Suspected impersonation will be investigated with ID verification

Data Privacy:
- Progress, scores, and logs are visible only to the learner and administrators
- Evidence URL is access-controlled and visible only to the learner

Quality Assurance:
Annual review by the SRP Steering Committee (achievement statistics and improvement plans)

Issuance Schedule:
- After program ends (September 19, 2025), performance will be evaluated
- Badges/certificates issued sequentially after review
- The issuedOn field records the individual issuance date

Revocation / Re-issue:
- Revocation: In cases of misconduct (proxy test-taking, content misuse)
- Re-issue: Possible for reasons such as name changes (via request to med.office@md.tsukuba.ac.jp)
